Icecrown Citadel is the final Wrath of the Lich King raid, in Icecrown, Northrend. It’s a raw gold farm with a lot of trash, plus Tier 10 transmog and a chance at Invincible’s Reins on 25-player Heroic.

A max-level character can solo it, and it’s long enough to make a solid gold run on its own.

How to do this farm

Zone: Icecrown
Requirements: A max-level character for quick solo clears. Switch to 25-player Heroic before the Lich King for a chance at Invincible. No professions needed.

Getting there

Get to Northrend (boat from Stormwind or zeppelin from Orgrimmar), then fly north to Icecrown. The entrance is at the base of the citadel in the middle of the zone.

The route

Full clear: every trash pack and boss
Pull big groups together and AoE them down
Loot everything as you go: gold, transmog and grey items
On 25-player Heroic, kill the Lich King for a chance at Invincible
Sell the grey items and vendor trash before your next run
