Embersilk Cloth is the Cataclysm cloth, dropped by humanoid enemies. It’s an open-world farm: find a dense spot of humanoids, pull them in big groups and loot the cloth.

You don’t need any professions, so any character can farm it, and Embersilk sells steadily to tailors levelling up.

Getting there

Take the Twilight Highlands portal from your capital city's portal room.

The route

  1. Fly to Glopgut's Hollow, north-west of The Gullet and west of Thundermar
  2. Kill the Glopgut ogres, checking inside the buildings (including upstairs)
  3. Pull big groups together and AoE them down
  4. Loot every body for Embersilk Cloth
  5. Loop around as the ogres respawn (about every minute)
